Ministry 3
Chancel CHOIR
The Celebration Choir is a vocal choir for adults leading traditional worship. They meet on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm.
PRAISE TEAM
This group leads spirited worship each week at our contemporary service. instrumentalists and vocalists join through audition.

Handbells Choir & Tonechimes
Our ringers rehearse on Sundays at 5:00 pm and play in worship throughout the year.
CHILDREN’S WORSHIP ARTS
Children kindergarten through fifth grade meet each Wednesday evening at 6:15 during the school year for a time of music, drama, and fun!
SINGING SAINTS
Singing Saints meets on Monday afternoons and shares God’s love through song and smiles with local assisted living centers, nursing homes and the homebound
AUDIO/VISUAL TECH TEAM
Led by our AV Tech, this team is responsible for utilizing our state-of-the-art AV equipment for all Sanctuary worship services, special programs, including our online opportunities, and help with other spaces around the campus. Volunteers are encouraged to share their interests, with training available.
INSTRUMENTS
Individuals who play all types of instruments are encouraged to share their gifts with our congregation through worship opportunities and special programs.

Children Ministry
SUNDAY MORNINGS
Babies, toddlers, and preschoolers – During the 9:30 and 11:00 services, our childcare staff cares for young children.
Kids’ Church – During the 9:30 service, kindergarten through fifth grade children begin in worship and then depart for Kids’ Church.
Bible Fun – During the 11:00 service, children may worship or attend Bible study.

WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS
Kindergarten through fifth grade enjoy worship arts, Bible study, games, and crafts from 6:00 to 8:00 pm during the school year.
Summer Camp
Our Church Summer Camp Child Care Center provides a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children ages 5–11 throughout the summer. Designed with working families in mind, our program offers full-day care where children can grow, learn, and build lasting friendships.

POINT
Our monthly Starting Point class discusses what it means to be a Christian, a United Methodist, and a member of First UMC.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
& BIBLE STUDIES
We have classes on Sunday mornings at 9:30 and 11:00 as well as multiple times throughout the week.
UNITED WOMEN
IN FAITH
Our women are actively involved in service to the congregation, the community, and the world. They meet monthly in small groups.

MINISTRY
Our men gather regularly for breakfast, fellowship, speakers, and prayer.
Missions & Outreach
FIFTH AVENUE
THRIFT SHOPPE
All proceeds benefit our missions and outreach efforts. The Shoppe is open Thursday and Friday from 10:00 to 2:00 and Saturday from 10:00 to 3:00 pm.
LOCAL
PROJECTS
We support Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Forward Paths Foundation, Haven of Lake and Sumter, LovExtension, Open Door day shelter, Residing Hope, and Wreaths Across America.
LAKE
CARES
Our congregation staffs the Lake Cares mobile food distribution at the MLK center on the third Friday of every month at 8:30 am.
OVERSEAS
We pray for and support our sister church , we support Dress a girl in the world, Spring of Revival in Belarus, Vision India, and our Zoe Empowerment group in Rwanda.
